I'm an enthusiastic and eager new climber who is looking to gain more knowledge and exposure to the sport. I am currently climbing 11a (indoors) and bouldering V3, but looking to move my climbing primarily outdoors. I would like to meet someone who would be just as enthusiastic to teach me safe outdoor climbing. I do not have much gear to contribute yet other than a crash pad and transportation, but I know that this will be something that I will be fully investing in shortly.
My Schedule: Weekdays 6-10pm and Weekends anytime/anywhere
So, if you feel the urge to pass on your vast climbing wisdom, please contact me or you can find me climbing at Planet Granite (Presidio) pretty much every day of the week.

Ok, my first bit of wisdom is ALWAYS, stop and check your tie in knot. Make it a ritual and combine it with something else, like touching your toes or something.
Second, is ALWAYS check your belay device when rappelling and if at all possible weight it while still tethered in.
If you do these two things and then take everything else people tell you with a grain of salt, you should have a long and enjoyable climbing career.
