Hello!

I'm looking for climbing partners to go outdoors! I'm based in Olympia and am willing to go anywhere as far as Smith to climb. I have a brand spanking new rope and some draws, just getting into lead climbing (5.8ish on sport) but can follow up to high tens, maybe some .11s, and have lead belayed a lot! I'd also love to follow some trad if anyone's got a teaching spirit. Looking to just get out on some rock and have fun! I can really only climb on weekends, possibly in the evening on weekdays for local crags.

Looking forward to meeting some of you wonderful people!

I am new to the Olympia area and am seeking a partner. I just recently started sport leading as well. I can lead 5.8 some 5.9s. If you would like to hit some crags, let me know and we can get together. Available for anywhere most weekends and close crags on weekdays.

Hi Travis! Would you be interested in meeting at the gym first in Olympia? I'm usually there Tuesday and thursday evenings.

Absolutely, those are the days I am usually there anyways. Although I haven't been in a few weeks. I'm going to be traveling the next two weeks, but as soon as I return we should get together at the gym. My might recognize each other immediately haha

Hi Lis,

I am planning on making a trip up to the PNW this summer. I plan to fly into Seattle on July 11th and leave on the 30th. I'd totally be down for teaching some trad for a ride to Squamish and will pay for your gas. I also would love to hit up Tieton River (quietly my favorite place to climb in WA). Let me know if you'd be interested or if you know anyone interested in heading up to Squamish?

Thanks,

Will

Lis, we have been at Smith Rock for the month of May, next Monday we move up to Vantage WA for June to camphost at Gingko Petrified Forest State Park. We will be climbing at Frenchman's Coulee. My wife just followed her first 5.10. She will lead 5.6-7 depending on difficulty. She is looking for stronger climbers to help her improve. I am the gear guy, she is the stronger climber, between the two of us we have a lot of fun climbing, safely. We have a small trad rack and are delicately expanding our horizons.

Frenchman's is about 175 miles from Olympia, great weekend trip. If your interested in a climbing trek shoot me a PM.
