Sport route on the maiden?

What's the sport route with at least a dozen draws that goes up the northwest arête of the summit block. Has draws hanging and could be started from the crows nest it looks like. Looks pretty damn hard. Doesn't look like hasta la hueco. |

Southwest arête, right? I don't know what it is, but it is quite an exposed and amazing looking line... |

Southwest Arete
It'd be nice if folks would take the draws off that route when done working it for the day. They've been hanging every time I'm up there since the route went in. Sure does look amazing, though! |

If it's the route I'm thinking of, cuts off left from west face overhang then it's Maiden Voyage .12bish. The direct start I believe is a .14 something |

I hear it's raining out there. You should probably stay off it so you don't tear it down. |

That route is definitely the Maiden Voyage, 12b or c I hear, and I've heard the quality is excellent. Matt Wilder did the FA, though the direct start may not have been freed yet. You could probably ping Matt and ask him to bring the draws down. It's not all that common to leave draws hanging in the Flatirons, usually only done for short periods of time when someone is working something. Cheers. |
