Completely new to the area, will be based nearby for three days. What moderate sport climbs (up to 5.10ish) would you recommend in LCC or BCC?

Cheers!

Well...Momentum has two locations...Millcreek and Sandy.

Might be crowded today.

The Challenge Buttress up BCC is a great sport area. Lots of options and quality routes:)

If you had a tick list you might get better recommendations, not disrespecting the dogslip cliche of course.

It seems that is exactly what he was seeking - a tick-list of good routes.

Well then for LCC, I don't know any straight up clip ups in the entry tens besides kermits wad and the viewing, both excellent. I hate bcc, and any tens I know take gear, try margin for air.

Your best bet is BCC. It should dry enough today. Routes are generally dispersed. South-facing routes from Bumble Bee wall (Fowl Play) over past Reservoir Ridge to Dam Wall have some bolted lines. See also the creekside Slips routes. Either side of Challenge. S-Curves, upper and lower have bolted lines in your grade.

BCC
Storm Mountain Picnic Area
Salt Lake Slips
Challenge Buttress
Dogwood

If you cant decide between BCC or LCC try Ferguson Canyon, its right between BCC and LCC, fantastic Granite with tons of sport routes off the beaten path.

My friends and I get together almost daily to climb, outside when dry (mostly BCC and Ferguson) and Momentum Millcreek when wet. PM me if you would like to join us.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
