If you are in the Denver area on Thursday, March 26th, my feature film "Brave New Wild" will be screening as a part of the Denver Film Society's annual documentary series DocNight at the Sie FilmCenter at 7pm. You can get food and beer while you watch, the way Shakespeare intended!
The film is about the climbing world of the 1950s/1960s and crosses the country from the Gunks, to the Tetons and Yosemite --- including figures such as the Vulgarians, John Gill, Royal Robbins and Warren Harding. My father is also featured in the movie as a train hopping, fruit tramping, dirtbag climber from the early 70s.
I will be there in person and will be doing a Q&A after the film, and there is a hosted reception at Henderson's lounge. Which I hope means a party! Not to mention, Colorado's very own anarchist climbing historian Cam Burns will be a part of the Q&A as well. So come and say hi!
