Van living near Acadia- Is it possible?

So I just got a gig up in Bar Harbor from June-October and was wondering if anyone had a bit of insight on van living in the area. I plan on contacting the guiding agencies on the island to see if someone there would be interested in renting me some driveway space but I figured I'd ask for some beta here before doing so.

Thanks in advance!

I can tell you I have been chased out of a lot of secret looking spots by the police there. If you don't mind paying for a campsite you have lots of options.

i'll be in the same boat this summer as well, people I know how been covert and have parked on the side streets for the entire summer but that is definitely dismal

Yeah that's what I figured, Zak. Looks like side streets may be the only option.

Anyone else have any ideas?

A boat, seriously.

I wish a boat was a legitimate option for me Tom. That would certainly make the summer unique.

Rent someone's driveway through couch surfing or some other like service?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
