Beginner Ice Climbs in NE MA?

Looking for some beginner bouldering/ice in north eastern MA. I saw the Lynn Fells Cascades mentioned on summit post. Anyone have knowledge of this? I'm also very close to Harold Parker State forest I'm assuming there has to be at least a short section of ice in there? Looking for WI1 or 2 type easy peasy stuff to get my form down.

Thanks!

The cascade is all there really is honestly. Looking for "beginner" stuff is pretty irrelevant because there really isn't much for options. Some ice might form up in Harold Parker but you'd have to go around digging to find it. If there is anything its probably going to be short ice "bouldering". There is also some ice on Waitts mountain in Malden but I don't have any beta. Cape Anne has some ice too apparently but again, you no beta to be shared. You can check out the cape anne climbing collation facebook page and see if anyone on there has any info.

Best bet is to head north.

Good luck finding any parking out on Cape Ann to go check out the ice with all of the snow they've got (I've tried). I'd be surprised if there is any place at Harold Parker where ice comes in. There is some ice bouldering to be had along the Windham rail trail in Southern New Hampshire.

Are there boulders in Harold Parker? I haven't been there in a while but don't remember seeing much (though at the time I wasn't climbing).

Nothing that I've seen from any trails, but it's possible.

There's just the glacial erratic in the Skug River Reservation, pretty much across the street from Harold Parker. It's in the route guide under Jenkins' Boulder.

Cool cool, I've heard about Jenkin's before but never got a chance to check it out and have since forgotten about it. Thanks!
