Hello, I've got a family trip to the Tahoe area and I'm looking to take my sister climbing. She is definitely a beginner and I'm looking for easy sport routes that are not too far from the southern side of the lake. Thanks for any suggestions

90 ft wall, almost all top ropes though, but good for beginners, a beautiful setting and a day out.

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked into it, is it as busy as people say it is?

Josh - there is also Bottle Creek, about the same size as 90 foot wall but right in Meyers

Auburn quarry! Good weather year round! Easy approach! Lots of beg climbs.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
