Any climbing in Valley of Fire?

Hi everyone - Heading out to J-Tree and Red Rocks in March. Also swinging through Valley of Fire State Park. Is there any climbing in there? Thanks!

You could give the visitor center a call to ask about specific restrictions, but I think it was something like no roped climbing-scrambling and bouldering only with additional restrictions on certain areas.

Realistically though I wouldn't waste your time. Red Rocks has more classic climbs (everything from long multipitch trad, steep sport, to bouldering) than you could ever climb. Don't waste your vacation time climbing choss.

The rock is pretty chossy anyway. Better off climbing at RR and exploring VoF on your rest day hiking/scrambling. (Still worth checking out!!)
