thanks Joe! This topic is also being covered under the thread titles "Haycock Bouldering Possible Closure". The Access Fund regional representitive Bob Value has been updating us there with the latest happenings.

Thank you Joe for bringing attention to this! we could use all the support possible.

Link to the other thread since it has more info, but was posted in the partner forum and might be missed.

(perhaps a mod can move it and or merge/prune threads?)

Sorry for the duplicate thread, just trying to get the word out as much as possible. Hope this goes our way as there is lots of great climbing and bouldering in PA!

Many thanks to Joe, and everyone else fighting this. Although I'm in Colorado now, I grew up in north central PA and enjoyed the Game Lands as a kid. I hiked, kayaked, and mostly fished. Some of those ponds held pickerel the size of small musky, it was awesome! I never hunted, however. Its important the lands are shared for all types of recreation. Keep up the good fight!

From Bob Value the AF Coordinator:

Good News for Now! The Game Commission has tabled next weeks vote on the rule changes outlined in the prior posts but that does NOT mean its over. If you have not commented we still urge you to do so as this is likely to come up again.

Yeah! its situations like this one that this forum shines. You are all stellar for supporting such a cause! thank you to everyone who emailed, bumped and communicated regarding this access issue; this thanks is from me personally as a PA resident and regular climber.

Bob Value and the Access Fund have gone above and beyond in my opinion. + 1 for the Access Fund, they are some badass mofo's!

Yeah, glad this most stupid idea got axed for now…
It was against too many user groups, and only supported one, hunters.

What in the hell is wrong with the politicians/planners in my old home state of Pennsyltucky!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
