Sleeping in Car in Yosemite? Extending Stay?

Law enforcement in Yosemite has a whole lot of time on their hands . More so in the off season. You might be able to get away with a night in the car here and there, but chances are you will get caught quickly . And if you get caught sleeping in your rig with improperly stored food inside there with you , a hefty ticket could also be coming your way . |

Also, in case it isn't obvious, asking for advice on how to break the law, on a public forum, is a pretty sure-fire way to bring negative attention to the community. |

I got away with it for one night and then got in line early for camp 4. I consider it quite an accomplishment because I had to find a perfect place to park (not telling) and then make my camper van not look like it was being camped in. |
