17th Annual Cody Ice Climbing Festival Feb. 13-16, 2015

To clarify for some of the rumors you may hear or see on social media or sadly here on Mountain Project the world’s premier climbing forum, the 17th annual Cody Ice Climbing Festival is going to be held February 13-16, 2015 in Cody, Wyoming.
Our insurance is paid in full with certificate of liability submitted to Shoshone USFS Wapiti office and the permit was signed and issued to us 01.06.2015 by the District Ranger.
Dozens of returning ice climbers and over whelming numbers of new participants are filling up clinics as fast as we can restructure and maximize our numbers allowed on the 2015 permit.
We have sixteen years history and the sport of ice climbing is alive, growing strong and many new faces attend each year not only at our event, but ice climbing events everywhere. We are small, nothing like the others but we have the best multi-pitch climbs in the lower 48 and small 3:1 guided clinics.
Yes we are having a competition! A “mixed climbing obstacle course” similar to seen on TV with American Ninja Warrior and ice climbers will challenge themselves with agility, speed and strength to a one of a kind never seen before course.
Affordable $25.00 entry fee with rewards of cash prizes for top finishers.
Then enjoy an after party fundraiser for Access Fund with live music, dancing and Alaskan Brewing Company until midnight.
