Anasazi blanco break in/fit

I recently scored a pair of Anasazi Blancos from the 5.10 close out page. I decided to go down 1/2 size from my street shoe (as opposed to 1.5 with my moccs and 5x), but noticed that they are still pretty damn tight. Knowing that they are a synthetic shoe I'm not expecting much stretch, but I'm wondering how much they might break in/how much the rand tension decreases with time. I'm trying to decide if I should send back my 19.5s for 11s.

I wear Anasazi's. They won't stretch much, if at all, lengthwise. You can stretch the width.

My Blancos are a full size down from my street shoe and they are perfect. For reference, I wear a 12 in Blackwing, Dragon, etc, and 11 in the Blancos. So sad they aren't making these anymore.

My street shoe is a 13/14 and I wear 12s in the Anasazis. The length has stayed pretty snug but the width has blown way out. I have monster flippers and they've gotten quite comfy, but still keep my big toe with a little curl.

Hi,

Does the size of the Anazasi lace Blanco and Anasazi VCS is the same ???
I tried VCS and I need a size 9 to be confortable (I wear 8 street size)

Since they are "Anasazi". I suppose the fit is the same.

same size but they feel narrower in the toe box and they are much stiffer

John,

I generally wear a 9 in a street shoe.

Anasazi Blanco's in a 8 are perfect. As others have said, they do not stretch--what you see is what you get. They do, however, break in and get a bit more comfortable.

Interestingly, went even smaller in the re-released Pinks--down to7.5--and the Pinks are more comfortable than the Blancos. Go figure.

The Pinks, however, are just a brilliant all-around shoe. The Whites are dime-edging miracles.

I think this thread may have been discussing the previous model Blancos. I am 10.5/11 street shoe, have a pair of the contemporary model in 11 and they are super snug.

I wear my street shoe size in the Blanco and even have a few pair that I went up a half size for longer days.  I can't imagine going down a size.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
