Best cam between BD 2 & 3
|
So, after a recent trip to the creek, I've decided that it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to add a cam to my rack that falls between the BD C4 #2 and #3 size. I went into Neptune to check out the newest #3 Friend, but it almost seemed too close to the C4 #3, what do ya'll use for that sweet spot between the #2 and #3 sizes? |

Have friends changed sizes recently? The old #3 Friend is the ticket between Gold and Blue camalots. |

Yup, purple/3 friend (helium or tech). The 3.5 blue friend is the one that is the same as a 3 camalot. |

Purple DMM Demon or 4CU. |

Purple metolious fat cam |

An over-cammed #3 or slightly tipped out #2 hit that sweet spot juuuust right... |

I actually just picked up a purple friend. Basically a 2.5 camalot, which isn't a bad size to have on the rack. |

I have made this chart (and have found it quite useless - had learnt cam sizes while had been working on it). It has been made for printing on Legal paper. Feel free to use it for reference: |
