New to SLC - happy to belay slave* weekdays while weather is still good

Hi all, I am new to SLC (east coast transplant) and am interested in getting outside a bit before winter finally arrives. Currently I am unemployed so weekdays are currently great, maybe weekends depending if my wife is working or not.

I would be happy to belay any grade, I am recovering from a pretty serious climbing injury and getting back into climbing, and I can follow at around 9-10a as long as there are no dangerous traverses. I am not really looking to lead or swap leads on multi-pitch just yet as I don't think my head is quite there.

So how bout it, any cool peeps looking to get outside but need someone on rope? I am happy to meet new people and can drive to any surrounding SLC area. I have my own rope & trad/sport rack. Happy to climb at Momentum before heading out as well.

Hi Ken, welcome to the Wasatch. I think the term you are looking for is "Belay Slave". Rope guns get the rope up there, usually by leading.

Hi! I am here in Salt Lake for the winter and I have a 2 for 1 pass for Momentum which expires at the end of the year. Looking for someone who wants to go over there and use it with me.
I am an experienced climber who is currently out of climbing shape so the gym is a good place for me now.
