Cash work in boulder

Hey, I'm in boulder till the end of January and was wondering if anyone knew of any casual work. I'm from New Zealand and don't have a work visa so it would have to be cash. It would be great to earn a little while my climbing partners are at work during week days. I'm 37 fit and reliable and can pretty much turn my hand to anything. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, cheers norm

If you're in Boulder and have no pride whatsoever, I would suggest the Pearl Street Mall.

Make a nice cardboard sign (use glitter) that says "Mystic New Zealand Fortune Telling, $1" Then when people stop just give them the most convoluted and absurd fortune you can think of, they'll pay more than $1 as long as it's positive. You must also use the craziest and least understandable accent you can muster.

I'd go there from 5pm to 10pm most nights. Longer on Friday and Saturday. I bet you'll make $60 to $300 a day. Especially with the holidays looming.

I can't think of any actual work that you'd do better with. Of course the people will know you're full of shit. They don't care.

Hang out in front of Home Depot with the Mexicans. Speaking English will give you an advantage. That or handjobs under the bridge. Helps if you are ambidextrous.
