Hi all!

We spend almost every Thanksgiving at the Creek, and in the spirit of sharing, we're happy to have other folks join our party. ;) This year there are just 4-5 of us, a couple of whom are beginning climbers and/or somewhat injured, so it would be nice to have some other folks to climb with! We also cook a big delicious dinner on Thursday night.

We're mellow, safe, easy-going climbers, 5.10-5.11, lots of gear and more than a decade of desert climbing experience. We're not out there to work on our 5.13 send skills, however, so if you're a sick hard climber you might get bored. :p

Finally, if anyone from the Denver metro area wants to bum a ride with us, we have room for one more plus gear. Leaving Wednesday morning, returning Sunday. Just chip in for gas and bring some food to share.

Thanks, and happy Thanksgiving!

Hi! I am planning to head that way today or tomorrow and looking for some partners for the week. Where are you planning on camping? I've climbed in the Creek quite a bit, and have some cams and a willingness to lead stuff to contribute (plus lots of food). Thanks!

Hey there! My girlfriend and I are planning to be in the Creek around that time as well. We're super easy going as well and would love some company for climbing, beers around the campfire, and a makeshift Thanksgiving dinner.

Where are you all planning on camping? We're currently thinking Creek Pasture, but could be swayed elsewhere.

Sounds like a fun group. My girlfriend and I are also heading out there tomorrow morning from Denver. We just moved to here from San Diego and have never been to the creek. Would be awesome to meet up and climb with people who know the area.

Hi Chris (and others arriving tomorrow)-

Sounds like we may be arriving around the same time. I think I will drive out from Moab tomorrow afternoon/evening and look for a spot at Creek Pasture (possibly Superbowl). In terms of gear I have about a triple set. I am in a red truck with alberta plates and a white pop-up camper in the bed, and will leave a note at the Creek Pasture message board, or look for you if you plan to be there already. You can send me a text when passing through Moab if you want so I know if you are around, and I'll let you all know if my plans change.

Hi all! Thanks for the replies. We'll be out there hopefully tomorrow night. We usually camp in Superbowl. We drive a 4x4 1980s Toyota truck mini-RV with New Mexico plates. Can't miss us. Colleen and Chris (and others) -- feel free to call/text me 541-510-6402 or just find us out there is you want to climb and/or hang out for turkey night.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
