The CCC land stops just before the meat locker area. The big arete marks the left end. To the right of the road, we own the cliff until it runs out.
We're working on acquiring Climbtech hardware to do bolt and anchor replacement work up there and we'll announce trail days on our website and Facebook page.
Brian, Does this mean that the planetarium and other areas down that way are off limits? The second time I went we hiked all the way down to the planetarium, and although we didn't climb there, we saw a group of people who were. It would make sense to me that if these areas are off limits, it might be a good idea to post something on the CCC website about exactly how far down the cliff climbers are allowed to walk before we are trespassing
Technically, yes. We don't own that property. That being said, those land owners had always been OK with climbing in the past. We do plan to reach out to them (one of them is not local) to see if they still are and we'll update the info when we have it.
