This problem looks amazing. Does anyone know if there is more bouldering here? The MP page for this doesn't have much....

He climbs this rig like it's so easy. Makes me think, "oh yeah... I could totally climb that look how easy it is". Really amazing video and climbing!

Is V10 easier or harder than running a 3:30 marathon????

Guess you'd have to find the Unicorn that can do both and ask it. Let me know what you find out

Looks great! Living close to the notch, I've poked around some but haven't found anything very interesting as far as boulders go. But I'm probably not looking hard enough or more likely am not "in the know"...as they say.

Phil, since the boulder problem is called The Eagle, I'm guessing it's on the Eaglet side of the highway. The MP page on Franconia Notch bouldering seems to indicate there are boulders a short walk from the parking area. Not sure if this problem is with those, but might be a place to start???

I actually hiked up the Greenleaf Trail two weeks ago to the summit of Lafayette. The trail goes right thru Eagle Pass which essentially forms the right side of Eagle Cliff (when facing from the road).

There's quite a bit of rock right on the trail that while somewhat dirty I can't imagine not having been climbed over the years. And spread through out the area are some nice boulders.

If you actually look south from this point in the trail there are a couple of nice looking pieces of rock across the gully that runs thru the pass. It would definitely be a thrash!

I know where that boulder is its a sweet arera pretty rad he got up that. There are lots of cool stones up there. It will be cool to see what else they get into.

So why not share so that the area can get cleaned and developed?

Its 3/4 up the eaglet trail on the left. There are the most clustered at the base (profile boulders). Cleaning and establishing is going on its just not all on MP. Go play in the woods.

Are there any acceptable spots to park and sleep in Franconia? I haven't been in a while and figured id ask since I noticed this thread popping up.

So what you're saying is I can camp at a campground?

I read the question as referring to sleeping in someone's car, not sure if you can do that at any of these spots...

Pinkham you can get away with a night...

Can you do the same at Franconia, say at the Lincoln/Lafayette trailhead?

^thats pretty much what I was wondering - should would be much more concise tent to wake up at the trail head rather than need to drive from MA in the morning

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
