A collegue and I are currently touring Utah by car and tent. Flying back to Europe on the 19th from Salt lake city and I'm looking for a new owner for a two week old:
- $40 Walmart tent specified for 4 people. Survived the rains of last week perfectly.
- Queen size air mattress, one of those blue ones with velvet like stuff on one side
- Air pump to inflate mattress
- And any other stuff we don't need anymore at that time like a sauce pan and such.

I will not be able to send it anywhere and will also not be able to give it away anywhere else than SLC and on the 19th.

Advice on a charity or something that might want it is also appreciated :)

If you stop by the Salvation Army or goodwill I'm sure they would be happy to have it. There are also probably some people on here who would enjoy it. Hope you enjoyed utah!

I might be able to pick up this stuff, if not, you could donate the items to Deseret Industries. It's a thrift store based in Utah and Idaho.

I don't know how to send a pm on my mobile phone so I just reply here. We stay on the Antelope Island campground from Thursday till Friday. So if you could meet us somewhere between there and SLC international airport before about 1pm we can give you the things you would like to take. Otherwise we will donate it. Thanks for the advice for donation!

I replied to a post for a couple of free ropes with my phone number. I received a call but it was very garbled (sounded like a bad connection) and the number was blocked so I couldn't call you back. Also you deleted the post. So I had no way to get back to you. If you can call me back or send me a PM we can hook up so I can pick up the ropes.

Thanks.

I have a pair of schoeller type climbing pants (black). They are too big for me, and have never been used. They'd fit someone that normally wears pants that are 36" waist.
I can bring them to Flagstaff (Milton, Bookman's for instance).

@ Gunks Jesse: I'll wait a few days to see if any of the Flagstaff, AZ people want the pants. If no locals want them, I'll send them to you.

I have a pair of MARMUT Medium snow pants up for grabs.
They have a nylon outer shell and a Gore-Tex label.
NO TAG SUGGESTING THE MODEL.
They come with shoulder straps and are more of a bib than pants.
They seem late 1990 era.
They have kevlar type fabric around the calf so crampons don't snag them. These have the old Ykk zippers (not water proof) with a hook and loop flap that folds over the zipper to improve water repellancy. If you get them wet they will stay wet all day. BUT they are snow pants, and if you spray on some coats of water repellant, they should work just fine. NOT BAD CONSIDERING THEIR FREE.

Does anyone have these books they are not using?
I'd pay for shipping and then some.

Hey looking for some old worn Cyborg front points. Just hoping to get an old pair for dry tooling and training purposes. If you have an old set lying around, PM me. I would be happy to take them off your hands.

Chad Volk wrote:FREE BOOKS I have more books than those pictured too including some climbing fiction, climbing non-fiction, fiction, non-fiction, etc. I also have some old ropes I was going to recycle if anyone wants them - 2 formerly 9.8x70m ones that have had the ends chopped and one 10.2x60m. The books are outside my garage door and free for the taking. 4222 Monroe Drive Unit B, Boulder. I'll keep the ropes inside so let me know if you want and we'll figure out a time for you to come get them.
I snagged 5 of the guidebooks: red rocks, dream canyon, horst's book, indian creek and classic desert climbs.

Thanks, Chad!

Hey Chad,
I'd like to call dibs on the Fat Crack book and the three ropes if that's ok.
I'm sending a PM.
