Come join the Community for a great day of climbing and socializing in iconic Eldorado Canyon

The Eldo Climber’s Picnic

Date: Saturday, Sept 6th

Location: Eldo Visitors Center

Time: 9am - 8:30pm

Schedule:

9:am - 4:00 pm: La Sportiva Climbing Shoe Demo - Come early, grab a pair of Mythos or TC Pros, and see how they perform on your favorite Eldo route.

9:00am – 4:00pm: This picnic/BBQ is bring your own grillables and side dishes. We will have coolers at the Eldo visitor’s Center to stash your food in during the day while you’re out climbing. Nonalcoholic beverages, paper plates, cups, and cutlery provided.

4:00pm-7:00pm: We provide the BBQ’s all fired up and ready for you to grill on; cook, eat, socialize, enjoy the sunset.

7:00pm – 8:00pm: “Celebrate Eldorado” slide show by Eldo guide book author Steve Levin. A comprehensive journey through Eldo climbing history with rare photos from the 1st ascent of Redguard Route in 1956, early 1960’s photos, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond.
