Looking for ride to Tuolumne/Yosemite from Sacramento 8/30

Hi!

My name is Micah and I'm a 33 year old lady looking for a ride from the Sacramento airport to somewhere in the Yosemite Valley or Tuolumne Meadows on Saturday, August 30th. I arrive at the airport at 8am.

I'm a climber from Portland and volunteering to do trail maintenance over Labor Day weekend partnering with these Access Fund and the Mazama Stewardship program. I'll be meeting my group in Tuolumne, but looking to get a ride to at least the valley, so I can get to Tuolumne Meadows campground sometime Saturday afternoon/evening. I'll have minimal luggage with me, and of course have gas money.

Also looking to ride from sac to the valley... I'll land there on the evening of Sunday the 31st. Isn't there also a train and bus that I can take? Trying to save as much cash as possible! I'll do your camp chores or cook or be your rope gun- whatever I can do for compensation that isn't too sleezey!

Hi Micah, I was planning to leave Friday to stay for the weekend, but can potentially postpone departure till saturday morning. Am hinging most of my decision on whether or not I can find a climbing partner for the weekend. Anyone out there looking for a climbing partner on Saturday, Sunday or Monday?
