I'm going to school in Young Harris, GA this semester, and would love to find some other psyched climbers. I've got plenty of gear. I'm just in need of some friends to get out with. I'll be new to the area. I've been to tallulah gorge once, and would LOVE to go back. And I'd love to make it out to mt yonah or currahee or anywhere else you'd want to show the newbie around. For what it's worth, I'm willing to lead up to 5.10 trad, and 5.11+ sport. I'm young, but I consider myself safe and experienced. Weekends are best, but I can make it usually any day of the week except mondays and tuesdays.

Hey bud, that sounds great. I frequently travel on weekends to different climbing destinations. I climbed at Leda in Tn with guys i met from this website and had a great experience. I would be willing to join you at Mt. Yonah or the Gorge. I have a harness, shoes, crash pad, and belay. You would need to supply rope. I have not learned how to lead, but i can toprope and belay. Boulder at a v3/4 level, climb at a 5.8/9 level.

The names dustin, send me a text 704-998-8041

Have you considered joining one of the social clubs at your school?

Such as:
Trailblazers

If that doesn't interest you, PM me. Sometimes we (I have a frog in my pocket) hit the road from Charlotte and drive west. Looking Glass and Laurel Knob come to mind.

Cheers!
