Climbing buddy, Grand Junction area

Lords and Ladies,

I'm moving to GJ the beginning of August and am looking for a climber or groups of climbers that I can tag along with to learn the area. I don't know anyone in the state of CO so I'll be lonely. ;)

I don't climb hard but I have fun doing it. I can follow into the mid .10's and won't mind being your belay slave. I'm also a good sherpa so keep that in mind. Also I love dogs so crag puppies are awesome!

I've already joined a few Meetup groups in the GJ area but am looking for recommendations for other online groups to check out, or god forbid groups to stay away from.

On a side note I'm buying a mountain bike when I get in town and I'm already an avid backpacker so . . . . .
