My partner and I are planning an expedition to Denali to climb the Muldrow route in May/June of 2015. Our two teammates just had to bail, so we are looking to find 2-6 more people to join us. If you want to join and are highly motivated, easy-going, and knowledgeable (or willing to learn), let us know!
As for us, we are one dude, one dudette, ages 36 and 32. This will be our first mountaineering expedition. I've got many years of climbing experience and done a lot of field work in the Antarctic, so understand logistics fairly well. My partner is an incredible distance runner and very fit, and climbs regularly. We are taking a glacier mountaineering course this summer to get more experience with roped travel and crevasse rescue.

Hello, my name is Frank and my wife's name is Dagi. We both are from Germany but live in the SF bay area.

We are 37 an 41 years old and just came back from a Denali muldrow attempt.

Since there was no dog sled support this year we had to carry all our gear up to the glacier which turned out to be quite an effort. Combined with a lot of bad weather we run out of time eventually and had to turn around for work after more than 30 days. We both feel it was an amazing trip and we are convinced it will be a lot easier next year with the experience we gained this year.

We were a team of four but two of us are unavailable for a next year return. We would love to touch base with you and share thoughts.

UPDATE!

I am very excited that we are now a team of 4. Frank and Dagi attempted the Muldrow this past spring (without dogsled support!) and want to give the summit another attempt. And fortunately for all of us, it looks like dogsled support will be available.

We are still interested in having more team members, so please let us know if you want to join. The previous posts tell a little bit about who we are and what we are about. We'd be happy to hear from you!

I'm definitely interested! Currently training for some solo ascents in Europe next year, but this sounds like it'd be an awesome expedition. My email is msammas@pacbell.net; definitely looking forward to hearing more about what y'all are planning.
