I am headed to North Conway, NH in early September for a ten day Rock Guide Course and am looking for cheap options for housing and transportation. Is there a local climbing community or climbing gym with connections or ideas on places to stay and the best way to get around to climbing locations (Cathedral, White Horse, Cannon Cliff? Are you also taking the AMGA course in September and interested in coordinating?

The hostel in Conway is pretty clean and usually has a good flow of climbers coming and going. It's too far to walk to "downtown" North Conway though.
Your best bet will probably be to find other course participants and carpool with someone. If you contact the course leader he might be able to put you in contact with other students and/or recommend lodging near your daily meeting place.
