The crazy lady at the Crux.
The behind-the-scenes story, as I've heard it told, is that Crux is essentially a make-work business for the owner, to give her something to busy herself with. I have no idea whether this is actually true, but if it is, it may partially explain why the place is still around despite apparently never having anyone patronize it. |

All that being said, we at SLO Op are more than pleased to accept the patronage of the local climbing community. Our open hours are not always convenient for non-locals who are just passing through, but I can occasionally work something out for traveling MtProj-er, if you send me a PM in advance of your visit. This sounds like exactly what it probably is. I can't wait to stop by some day and experience it for myself! |

One of you with a van should go... And when she come out to confront you in said van... Ask her of she wants to get sexy in there! ;) |
She stays in business because her father owns, or subsidizes it. Not because of her customer services skills or loyal clientele! |
Let's all meet at SLO OP, ride over in the Vansion, and and flash mob the shit out of her. |
video that, maybe she storms out with a broom in her hand |
Sounds like she probably keeps the broom outside, in the first parking space, with her name on it... |

Does this woman even climb? I understand if her family wants to keep her off the breadline by buying her a business to run, but next time could they pick something that she knows a little about? |

There aren't any holds in there. I haven't been to a lot of gyms, are there some like that? Don't the routes get boring? |

Don't the routes get boring?I don't think anyone last long enough at that gym to get bored with the routes. From reading all the terrible review on yelp, it sounds like most people only make it about an hour or so before the lady freaks out and either kicks them out or insults them to the point that they leave. |
It seems to me she wants it to be like a place for kids, mostly, and people who know absolutely nothing about climbing. She's trying to scare real climbers away, I guess? |

Anyone else think she's kinda hot? |
notmyname wrote:Anyone else think she's kinda hot?Apart from a disturbingly blank facial expression and a flat, monotone way of speaking, yes. |

notmyname wrote:Anyone else think she's kinda hot?Not even close. The crazy oozes out of her. You even see it in that video. And its not the fun and whacky kind of crazy, but the "i'm gonna make your life miserable" kind of crazy. |

She probably just needs some lovin'...somebody get out there and take one for the team...it can't be that bad...reminds me of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel… |
Maybe she's married to the Soup Nazi... |
