NRG questions

What is early May like at the New generally in terms of weather? Is it variable or does it usually trend pretty warm say May 2-7. Also, do bugs become an issue? Thanks!

Temps will prob be ok, not too hot yet and not super humid yet. You may have to dodge rain and choose shady cliffs. All in all, May is usually a pretty awesome month at NRG.

Yeah, temps and bugs will not really be too much of an issue. The only thing is rain, which always can hose your entire trip.

These guys are liars. It's already too hot/humid/buggy to rock climb. Most locals have taken up knitting and baking for the season.
