looking fer some beta...my partner and i will be on a tour-de-australia through june/july, fingers crossed for good weather....

what guidebook is the best one to get for any of these areas (gramps/araps/blues and tasmania) ?

we are very interested in multipitch but are also interested in not carrying 2 ropes...can you get off most of the taller stuff (in any of these areas) with a single 70m? (or 80m?)

are there any cheap/quick ferries that go between tasmania and melbourne? ive been looking around but itd be cool to get some firsthand experience on the 'dirtbag friendly' ones...

im planning on a double rack of cams from black alien-#3 camalot and a single 4, though if there is alot high quality wide stuff....i could be convinced to bring some 5's or 6's....we like the wide stuff....is it worth the traveling weight? (we'll also have a double set of stoppers/offset stoppers n brassies...and maybe even tricams....)

thanks in advance for any helpful hints or advice!

and yes, i know
im gonna DDDIIIEEEEE!!!!
