Salewa Pro Guide or Sportiva Nepal
|
Now that the season is out and boots are cheap...I'm looking to buy... I was looking at the Salewa Pro Guide, and I feel like the heel cup fits my foot a little better. Are the Sportiva Nepals warmer? I am looking for mostly vertical ice climbing. I have tried both on, and climbed in the Nepal. |

Made this decision and went with the pro guide. They are warmer, fit my heel far better, and they come from a pretty innovative company. |

Haven`t climbed in the Pro Guide, love my Nepals, they climb way harder than me. That said, the Salewas likely would too. If they fit better than rock them. I have heard of some issues (on MP) with the lock system, but if the Nepals hiked better, I'd be psyched. |

Also rated higher than the Nepals outdoorgearlab.com/Mountain…Hate to tell ya, but that comparison is worthless, given there's everything there from a three-season 3/4 shank boot to a double-boot. |

Vertical ice, but where? What temps? What grades? |
