Ten minutes on Google showed several bolts (SS) with shear and pull-out strengths orders of magnitude higher than even a rough lead whipper. Alex, This is part of what I'm trying to express. You don't know the impact you are putting on the bolt because you don't know if it's the right material, length or rock strength around the bolt. Many unknowns.

Cool, so just don't take victory whips on improperly installed bolts. Problem solved! That was easy. You're welcome everyone.

Should I stop using the brakes on my car because repeated use will wear them out? I like to step on the brakes for fun, but now I am thinking I should just remove them all together. I think it would be less dangerous without them, than have a ticking time bomb waiting to catch me unaware. Any brake-choppers out there?

Everyone knows "taking" results in a penalty slack. David Sahalie wrote: True enough. Maybe best to climb outside well below your gym limit and not fall at all. Very smart. Never thought this would come out as a rebuttal. Darren in Vegas wrote:Should I stop using the brakes on my car because repeated use will wear them out? Yes please remove your brakes.
