Hi there, I am planning a climbing trip to Dolomites in September 2014. It will be my first trip to Dolomites and I wonder if anyone can recommend the best way to hook up with some locals climbers. Ideally I would like to find someone familiar with area ... get in more climbing and less trying to find good climbs. Is there anything like Euro mountain project or climb find?

Hi Ivan, I live in Europe and plan to spend week or two in Dolomites in early September but at this moment none of my climbing partners are available that time. Please contact me if you don't mind doing long easy routes. I climbed near Cortina before and can lead around UIAA IV multipitch there, ~5b 5c single pitch sport. I know other dolomite groups too (mtb, via ferrata)

Hi mrcn and thanks for responding. I am planning to be in Europe all September and spend at least two weeks in Dolomites. Would be great if we can hook up for some classic climbs. I will be coming from US, have years of experience, did climb great deal in Utah, Nevada and California including some big walls. Never climbed in Europe though. I did not finalized logistics for the trip but I can be very flexible.
Where in Europe you live?

Hi Ivan,

I'm an Australian climber who will be near Bolzano for about 5 days starting from 25/26 Sept 14.

Have personal gear but no ropes or rack. Would be keen to climb or do VF's.

Climbed in the Tre Cime many years ago and still very active.

Send me an email if you get this in time.

Regards,

Keith Bell
