Was it a tough choice to cover the windows?

Not at all. I have plenty of windows in my house, this is in an outbuilding that has been converted entirely into a gym. I don't go in there to enjoy the view, I go in there to train.

Roger that. I am planning to build something really similar in a Victorian attic. My debate is not for the view but for getting natural light in the room. I am leaning towards a few Sun Tunnels now that can also have electrical lights inside the tubes like recessed lighting! Sun Tunnel Lighting

What did you do for the flooring? Is that carpet with foam underneath?

For the lighting we put in recessed 20w LED floods covered with lexan diffusers. They work well, it's bright enough for sure. As for the floor we have six mattresses and about 12 crash pads in there for a 24x24 area, it works well enough. I looked into pro flooring from asana etc and it was just way too expensive
