Do the X-Monster blades fit on Monster (original) tools? If not does anyone know where to get some of those blades?

Yes, you can swap the picks between the two tools. I had to drill out and replace the bolts, nuts and washers since both sets of tools had the bolts peened. Picked up replacement bolts at Brafasco. Other thing I had to do was remove the raised Grivel sticker on the X-monster.

Grind/file the peened part of the bolt flush with the nut and it should come apart without destroying the hardware. I've done it with Monsters and Quantums.

Are the angles of the Monster and X-Monster blades the same?

Slightly different angles and the monster is perhaps 2cm longer than the x-monster
