have spare crampons???

Last minute-Trying to get a friend out on the ice this weekend, Madison to Wyalusing, but need to find 2nd set of crampons. His boots do not have toe welt. I'm in Madison and would be willing to beg/rent/buy for weekend.

I have several pairs of crampons I would lend out no problem. I also have older ice boots with welts to offer up.

What day you headed over to Wyalusing? If you go Sunday this weekend you may wanna take warming packs for fingers and toes as the high is only OF i the forecast.... Brrrr...

I would be willing trade the use of a pair of my crampons for a ride along if you headed over tomorrow...

I still have issues but am geting better and was thinking I can get away with trying some ice climbing on TR. Plus. I am wanting to get over to Wyalusing and take some condition photos for the various local web sites....

Was at Wyalusing today and the main route on the river is in and nice and steep. The corner route at the quarry (Quarry Monster?) was in and definitely climbable/
lead-able.
For Jan 3rd I'd say we are looking at a solid season!

Dylan, Nate, and I did TR laps on the Main Flow. I am feeling alot better the last few weeks. I was able to climb the Main Flow a bunch of times with no falls! I was pretty happy about that.

I wanna get back over there this coming weekend when the temps are back to reasonable. Let me know if you wanna hook up for that?

I saw that you and friend made a cool winter ascent of the great bastion of Shiprock.... central Sconny. Cool! Love it! You should have dry tooled it.... Ha ha. Just kidd'n.
