seeking regular climbing partnerships in the boulder area

i'm interested in meeting new people to form regular and continuing climbing partnerships.

i enjoy placing gear at eldo, the flatirons, boulder canyon, lumpy ridge, south platte, vedauwoo, etc. although i like to repeat "good" routes and i enjoy working projects, i'm always psyched to check out new areas and routes. (i've climbed 350 different routes in eldo and i'd like to keep bumping up my POERC.) i like pushing myself and my partners but i also enjoy cruising at easier grades. i don't mind a big hike to get to a crag but i draw the line at doing alpine stuff as i'm fairly useless at high elevation (i can climb at my limit only up to about 10000ft; above 12000ft or so, i feel like i have a cinder block hanging from my haul loop). i don't regularly sport climb but i would be open to doing more at select crags in the area. some of my favorite destinations outside colorado include vedauwoo, indian creek, devil's tower, the gunks, and red rock canyon. a little closer to home, i also regularly climb at the boulder rock club and the spot and would be interested in teaming up with people who are into some sort of organized or systematic training.

if you can answer yes to one or more of the following questions, we might make a good team:

* do you like to avoid crowds by walking farther?
* can you get psyched to climb a zero- or one-star route in eldo?
* do you like to start early and climb all day?
* would you prefer to top out and walkoff, when possible, rather than rappel?
* do you know when it's appropriate to give the leader extra slack?
* are you on a first-name basis with at least one server at the southern sun?
* are you an attentive belayer?
* do you like to buy guidebooks to places you haven't climbed in order to get inspiration? do you make "to do" lists from said guidebooks?
* are you comfortable doing a multi-pitch route with a small nalgene clipped to your harness, an energy bar in your pocket, and a jacket tied around your waist?

i should probably mention some grades. i have a pretty good chance of onsighting (non-offwidth) mid 10s on gear most places i've climbed. i've redpointed harder and would like to be able to send 11s on gear on a more regular basis. i prefer steep over slabby and crack over face but my aim is to become proficient in all styles including the wide.

drop me a line if you're interested. if you found post this long-winded and/or lacking any redeeming value, please send your feedback to /dev/null.

bump for the new year. looking for regular partners who enjoy challenging themselves, cruising on easier routes, having adventurous days, going on trips to new destinations, or all of the above.

check out my to-do list (it's quite incomplete but should give you an idea what sorts of things i like to climb). if there's some overlap with what you're aiming for this year, then drop me a line and we'll get it done.
