Mixed Feelings on 12/28/2013. There is no longer a fixed pin at the end of horizontal crack. Apparently a #2 Pecker is required to protect adequately before getting good protection in the ice above. (But after I climbed it today, 1/26/2014, it seems that a knifeblade would also work well before the ice.)<br> <br> Photo: Doug DeVoto.
