Has anyone been to Gov Dodge, was wondering if there is any ice in to be climbed.

I haven't been yet, but conditions have been ideal. I'd be willing to bet there is good ice.

I climbed at Cox Hollow the other day, both the left and the right side ice falls are in. Conditions weren't as nice as I was hoping. The left side was skimpier and the right side was fatter than last year. The steepest ice on the right side was kind of climbed out, it should probably be left alone to fill in and grow back a bit. Spied Lone Rock from the bridge with my binos. Both falls are down but the bottoms aren't fat yet, climbable but not fat. They also might be a little chandelier-ish. I climbed at Cox when I did because I am leaving the country and won't be able to climb ice until next year, otherwise I would have felt a little more regretful about have climbed there at this time.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
