Van bivy sites, RR

I'm looking for parking lot(s) that my buddy and I can park our van and sleep without being harassed (too much) by a security guard. Just need a place to sleep, don't plan on cooking there or anything. And Taqureia's on that side of town.
Sorry for dredging up another camping thread, thought that would be better than starting a new thread.
I'm familiar with the camping situation around Red Rock, but not sure where we can park a van to sleep and I have not seen this covered in the sticky. You can pm me if you'd prefer.

as i understand it from watching some wacked out documentary: walmart has a policy that allows rv's to camp in their parking lots for free. i wonder how many former small business owners that are homeless now because they lost their shirt to walmart have to stay in the mega chain's parking lots?!

That nearest Wally world is at Ft. apache and Trop, just off the 215.

Other have stayed in various casino parking lots. Go in and buy a drink - you'll be a paying customer. The Yard House at Red Rock Casino has an impressive beer selection.

Amigos Tacos - Durango and Warm Springs. Exit Durango off the 215.

I slept in my van in the RR casino lot a few weeks ago for a night. Didn't get harassed by anyone, but the casino does have speakers on almost every light post in their parking lot that plays annoying pop and dance music all night.

we camped at various casinos with no issues ever, i think it was mgm that was best, no music.

if you go the other direction you can camp out at Lovell.
