I don't know anyone who doesn't.

My old socks have made effective chalk balls... but consider that I am a light user. I do dig the design, a definite improvement over the standard issue. I'll keep you in mind should I or anyone I meet find themselves in need of a new sack.

Thanks!

For the ball-curious, our sacks are bigger and give more per squeeze than other chalkballs.

How does the ziplock perform when it is all gummed up with sweaty chalk?

I guess the illustration isn't as clear as it could be -- that's not a ziplock thingy but actually a hook -- the pouch opens and hooks to the other side. We went with hooks(after trying zippers) to address this exact issue.

Appreciate the level of community engagement in this thread, Danger! I pledged a few weeks back and am really stoked to try this out. I'll admit I was initially kind of skeptical, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized how much I hate using loose chalk. It's just something I became acclimated to, but it doesn't work very well.

Anyway, glad the Kickstarter went well!

How can I order one now that the Kickstarter is over?

I don't know anyone who doesn't."
...

Out of turn but back to me for the hell of it...

and I don't know ANYONE that uses "chalk balls" either...

Seriously!

But it still seems like a decent idea the OP has...
