I use an extendable painter's pole. Don't have pics, though. |
|
yeah, just a 12 ft. 2 pc. painters pole with a screw on squid device on the end. Covered in climbing stickers. Makes more of a great hiking pole for the knees on the downhill trails encountered heading to the crags. No pics of it in use though...are we looking for the most artistic or creative stick in this posting?? |

I put it on a strong-long painters pole from the hardware store, cost $40, but I've had it for over 3 years with zero issues. This setup is awesome. You'd think that superclip accessory would be on sale at every climbing department, works great. They need better sales/marketing. |

anybody using 3 pc poles to reach over 20 ft? |

The proper term for ascending a route via stick-clipping is Fraiding, Got that from Mabe. Get it? Free/aid; afraid. |

L.O.L.... Awesome, Locker ;-) |

I use a 3 piece 12' lightbulb changer with a clamp on the end, fastened with hose clamps. Duct tape on the hose clamps is good beta and makes it less bitey. I got the idea from a friend, who I also learned the stick clip fu from. He customized his with a piece of wooden dowel in the last extension of the pole, giving him 16' of sport wanking pleasure. It also doubles a walking stick, and with the clamp on the end works great as a guide book holder too. |
