RRG- Roadside crag access?

I am planning a trip to the Red this fall and havnt been there for 4 years. I know roadside is/was closed but cant seem to find if it is open again. I have looked at other websites (rrg climbers, etc) but was obviously looking in wrong spot because I couldnt get any new info. Anyone have any news or update on this? Just curious as I am trying to plan.

Hmm, so is Rt.11 the 38th parallel or DMZ of the site,,,and should we be adding troops/climbers in the Roadside parking lot for the upcoming attack to take it back? There are militias in KY who would love to be involved,,just set a date and kickoff time and they can organize!

I remember that place and loved it. Oh well.

So I remember in reading the problems that caused the closing of the area were outlined. Has there been any progress to taking down the fixed gear, remove bolts, or cleanup to help get the area open?

It's amazing how quickly places recover once the 50+ people a day stop going. I bet there is barely a trail anymore.

I'm kinda looking forward to the apocalypse, but not zombies, they trample everything.

..and zombies are so dam slow, both on the trail to Roadside and once on route. Takes forever for them to send anything, as you wait patiently for them to clean the climb, meanwhile beating off their hungry brothers who want your carcass for lunch. Such is zombie life at the Red.
