Monkey Traverse/Crown Rock Area Trail Work
Where: Flagstaff Mountain - Boulder, CO
When: Saturday, October 5, 8am – 4pm
Hosted by: Flatirons Climbing Council

Details: In cooperation with the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, the FCC and volunteers will repair worn trails, close social trails and restore terrain at and near one of the country's most historic and popular bouldering areas, The Monkey Traverse. Decades of bouldering and hiking have taken a toll. It's our turn to give back! The FCC and OSMP will provide lunch, beverages and raffle items. Grab your gloves and please carpool – parking is limited. Register here.

Help spread the word, grab a friend and give back to the land that feeds the soul!

The date has been postponed until later due to the complications of the rainfall.

Many thanks to our generous sponsors:

The Access Fund, Wilderness Exchange Unlimited, Avery Brewing, The Spot Bouldering Gym, Boulder Beer Co., Scarpa, Neptune Mountaineering, Movement Climbing+Fitness, Mont-Bell, Patagonia, Fixed Pin Publishing, Reel Rock, REI, CliffBar, Mammut.

Unfortunately due to the rain & floods, this event has been cancelled.

Due to complications from the torrential rains we will have to postpone this Saturday’s Trail Day until Oct 5. The City of Boulder OSMP staff must immediately attend to more pressing matters. Thanks for your patience and we’ll hope to see you in a few weeks.

The Crown Rock/Monkey Traverse trailwork has been cancelled. After the flooding, there are bigger priorities that demand trail restoration that we'll be spearheading.
