Need camping suggestion in the Moab area..

Hi,

I'm going to be camping for a few days in Moab soon, and I need to find a place to camp.

Unfortunately I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and require a CPAP machine to sleep. They do make battery packs, but it's not in the budget for this trip, so I'm forced to camp somewhere with electricity.

I know that limits my options, but I was hoping to get some suggestions for places to camp that have electricity, but arent overrun with families camping on top of eachother.

Only requirements are that it has power, a little privacy, and not right in town.

Shade doesn't matter much as I won't be spending alot of time in camp during the day.

Appreciate any suggestions! Have a good weekend! Thanks!

That's a tough call. There are a couple of private commercial campgrounds on the north side of Moab that might work. While I've never camped there, Canyonlands Campground at 555 S. Main looks promising. I shower there and the facilities are always clean and well-kept. The entire site is nicely shaded and it's within walking distance of town.

Here's a list of all the private campgrounds in town:

Good luck,
mal

The KOA on the south side of town may be an option.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
