Hello all, I just spent a month out west and got my first experience climbing cracks in Vedauwoo and in Yosemite; so naturally I am looking for crack climbing back here on the east coast. I have spent some time at morning glory wall at cedar rock and also at the cereal buttress at rumbling bald, both of which have some great crack climbing. however id love to find some splitter cracks, if anyone has any suggestions that would be close by. I live in Greenville, SC, so I am used to atleast an hour drive. Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
Will

Here mountainproject.com/v/north… and here mountainproject.com/v/south… have a good concentration of cracks in one area with easy access.

The south-side at looking glass will have more of your less than vertical slabby cracks, while the north-side has more challenging routes (and stays cool and some routes stay dry in rain). Not Yosemite splitter, but cracks nonetheless.

Check out Hypocrite's Corner and it's alternate finishes...also, the first pitch of Oasis...both at Laurel Knob.

Less-splitter granite cracks could also include Grand Delusion at Big Green and the crack climbing you can find in some places on Whitesides.

Tennessee Wall is a bit further but has lots of cracks.

Thanks for the replys everyone! I've spent a good bit of time at North side of LG, but will have to make it to the North side now. T wall and Laurel Knob both look great also, hopefully the rain will hold off this weekend!

Neither of these are places that I'd like to be in July/August!
