Indian Graves Ridge Rock Climbing

From Front Royal, take 340 south towards Luray for about 23 miles. Before you reach Luray, stay straight on Broad Street (340 S), then take a right onto Mechanic Street. Mechanics Street then becomes Bixlers Ferry Rd, which you follow for about 3 miles. After crossing the Shenendoah, turn right onto S Page Valley Rd.

Drive for several miles, staying on S Page Valley Rd, which will go slightly uphill. Look for the Indian Graves Ridge trail sign and turn left into the "parking" space. If you crest the hill, and then go down and see the river on your right, you've gone too far. There is a national forest style looking bathroom on the right side that appears to be closed in the winter.

From the parking area, follow the purple blazes for about 45-60 minutes. You'll reach a plateau, which is about 2/3rds of the way there. Continue all the way to you see the white rocks on the right (or you reach nearly the top of the ridge). There will be white blazes and a wooden sign on a pseudo trail veering right.
