Hey Jon, |
Right on Kirk. Im going to look into rounding up some folks. Im working in Moab for the rest of the week so I wont be available to find people after tomorrow so I'll be in touch with you next Monday! |
Sounds good Jon, get in touch when you're ready. Let me know your plans as soon as you have them firmed up and I'll reserve the place for you. |
That is the same dog I met today at North Table mountain. What a great dog! |
He's a great dog, for sure! |
Kirk, Your place looks awesome! I'm eager to check it out the next time I am back in Colorado. |
Olaf! |
Big Thanks and Props. to Angela, Hannah, Ross, and Chad! |
A BIG shout out to all my guests from Memorial Day weekend! |
Ran into this three foot Bull Snake right outside the Yurt. We haven't seen any mice or rattlesnakes there all season! |
Kirk, even though this message is coming a full month late, we wanted to thank you for the hospitality at your yurt! We had an amazing time. It was great to climb with you and we will both spread the word and visit again! Somehow not a single person in our group got a picture of the yurt :( Here are a couple, though. |
Carin! Great to hear from you; that was a fun trip for sure. |
The road up to Cactus cliff has washed out! Ten inches of rain fell all at once last Thursday night and flash flooding wiped out several dirt roads in the area. Shelf road from Cripple Creek through to Cañon City is reported to be clear and open. |
Here's another shot of the damage, looking up the road... |

Yup those shots are of the main access road to the Yurt. We'll still be able to walk in until the road is repaired. |
I'd love to rent your yurt the last weekend in September. What's the best way to reserve it? |
The BLM came through! The road has been repaired!!! |
