Hello Briana and Court,

I am a south lake tahoe resident and climber who is always looking to expand my horizons by climbing with new and different climbers. I am experienced in trad and sport which seems to be of your interest. Some of my goals for the season are to climb new routes(to me) at woodfords, lovers leap, indian rock and eagle lake butress as well as get out to crags not in guidebooks that require a hike and comittment to send. I have the necessary gear and experience to accompish these goals safely and would just like to meet other people who share a passion for these types of goals. its more enjoyable that way imo. anyways I DO NOT DRIVE and have been having a bit of lung trouble over the past weekend so I do not expect to get out on the rock until about two weeks. I plan on hiking and exploring as well as scouting out routes at crags new to me all the while acclimatizing to the high country in the mean time. if this sounds of your interest please give me a call at 714 742 8907.

Enjoy the Season,

Bruce

I'm looking for Tahoe area partners for the weekends (possibly mid-week can work too). I'm living around 2 hours south for the next month, have a car, full rack, rope. Looking to climb Lover's Leap, Yosemite/Tuolumne or anywhere else in the area (though i've never climbed here before).

To everyone scoping this thread, I'm 23 and currently in Nevada City. I'd love to get out anytime Sunday through Wednesday (26-29) if anyone is interested. I'm not too familiar with the Tahoe/Truckee area, so someone with experience would be nice. If not, I'll just browse the Project and look up some cool climbs. Unfortunately, I don't have a rack...but I do have 12 draws and a 70m rope. Trad: 10a-ish (lead), 11a/b (follow). Sport: lead (11b/c), 11d (follow). Hit me up if you're interested! Sounds good! 925-337-3103.

I am an Australian climber currently in Yosemite looking for climbing partners in this area. I am particularly kenn to go to lovers leap. I have a rack rope and gear require. I have done a fair about of trad is Australia including longish multipitch climbing. I am very kenn to meet some local climbers. I will hopefully be in the area from the 30 th of may. Let us know if anyone is keen for a climb. Cheers Hugh.

Hugh... What is it you're looking to climb in the Tahoe area? I'm available weekends. Prefer 5.10 and up...

Not 100% sure what I would like to climb there. At this point in time I am working through how to get to the campsite without a car. Which is interesting. I will be keen to climb anything and hopefully will be there this weekend. I can make it to placerville ok. I was planning to hitch from there anyone know who I might be able to get a lift of from there?

I am also looking for new partners. I have all the above mentioned gear. I lead 5.8 trad and 10a sport. Will follow harder routes and love climbing easier routes as well. Just want to be outside and on the rock.

I am very familar with the Leap, Woodfords, Phantom, Eagle Lake areas and most other areas around the South Shore.

e.diddy i'd be down for any of the areas you mentioned. they're pretty much the ones i haven't been to on the south shore. i'm all partnered up through next monday though. also like to get up to luther rock.

Court,
I am a weekend climber, so if you need a partner on weekends just let me know. Also, Luther Rock gets sun all day. It's a great crag for early fall, but right now it's baking in the sun!

Would have been good up until now. Went from cool spring to mid summer temps between yesterday and tomorrow. i have my daughters every other weekend, this weekend being one of them so next weekend is free.

and where is the 'post reply' button using chrome? i have the reply with quote, but that's it.

Would you be up for some climbing saturday?

Hey all! I was going to post a similar thread but I might as well add on to this one.
Looking for partner(s) in the Tahoe area--north/south, I am mobile. Trad or sport. I can lead up to 9s trad and 10s sport. I can follow 11s and can probably give a nice go at a 12 given the opportunity. I have ropes, full rack with some doubles, stoppers, draws.

I was here all winter drooling over the endless amount of granite (& tuff & basalt) that is EVERYWHERE. Now I just need a few good partners so I can finally climb said rock.

970-497-6681. Call/text or send PM
Thanks

Looking for partner this weekend for me to follow. Just got my first cams and went out last night to place them on a sport route with a 35' first bolt. let's just say I should follow someone first. Of course I'd be down for sport or top roping too.
working tonight so pm or text 530 318-4384

anyone want to climb this weekend?
starting to get a much fuller (if very old) rack. not that it matters since i have yet to lead trad. have followed surrealistic pillar and corrugation corner with zero fatalities. down for sport, trad, or toproping. just want to climb.
caveat- i work at 4 both days

nevermind about saturday. position has been filled.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
