Description Suggest change

The dog wall is a short, multi-colored granite craglet that continues the horse shoe piles formations. Most climbs have a top rope anchor accessible by walking above. NE facing, afternoon shade. Nice setting with lots of flowers and a creek (read: mosquitoes early season)

This wall has been developed in honor of Mammoth Dog Teams and dogs everywhere and of all kind (except possibly annoying ones or evil ones)

Development is still in progress, some climbs require walk offs or single bolt rappels.

Excellent trad, mixed opportunities and some great lil' sport climbs, a beautiful spot to hang and climb.

Getting There Suggest change

the easiest description would be to head to horseshoe piles, then walk climbers left (uphill/ upstream) to the wall. apprx. 200 yards up hill from the piles. 15 min approach uphill.
