Thinking of heading out to Fosters Falls. What is a good guide book and does anyone know what the weather is doing this time of year there?

I suggest the Dixie Craggers Atlas. It has lots of other areas in it too. You can climb year round in TN, just give it a day to dry after a heavy rain. Hope this helps. :)

I think Fosters faces SE. If it is SE, it should get sun from the morning until mid-afternoon.

Goodluck finding that guidebook there. It has been out of print for awhile. I know rock creek didnt have a copy to sell.

I was lucky and found a copy at neptunes in boulder, while I was back for new years. I'd let you borrow it but Im in mississippi now.

Ya, its out of print now. You can get it on ebay for like 90$ but I'd just go onsight if you couldn't find someone with a guide. The new edition should be out soon.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
